Easy me.
Easily contented?
This question hunted me the whole afternoon and it confused me. As I paused for a while, I thought that maybe I could figure out why this question suddenly popped in my head.
Aristotle: “Happiness is Self-contentedness”
As I read some articles about contentment, I found out that as a Human being, no matter how happy we are, we just can’t stop, we will always find a way to improve because that’s how we live.
Does it mean that we can’t be happy? NO! We can always be happy, and we can be contented at some point.
So as for the question, my answer is yes, I get easily contented, but that doesn’t mean I’ll stop improving. I get easily contented because I just don’t know what to do anymore, but when I realize the part that was missing, I get back again and improve it. That’s how I do things, and maybe that’s how I get my contentment. Maybe it’s wrong for others but for me it’s not. The important thing is to gain happiness and to of course to have a fruitful life.
